Catching up with Thailand

Our visas have run out and we have left Thailand. I posted many times about what we did in three short months (click here to read them), but there just wasn’t enough time to share everything.

Below are some interesting photos from areas that I never got a chance to blog about.

The Chinese Martyrs Memorial Museum in Mae Salong

The gateway to a very strange place in Mae Salong - a kitschy, unfinished resort themed around tea. Apparently the person building gave up halfway through (I never found out why) and now the half-finished structures have started falling into decay.

A teapot inside the complex I mentioned above. It was never finished, and perhaps it never will be.

Wat Mae Ai Luang was filled with painted depictions of Buddhist mythology. This one took us by surprise - look around the creature's neck.

The Cat Cafe in Bangkok. There is only one kitty in this photo, but there were several prancing about the enclosed cafe. They also sell crepe cake, so it's win-win.
